The AMALGEROL® brand has a long history

We are deeply rooted to our Austrian base in Innsbruck and our long-standing heritage. The generations that shaped AMALGEROL® established biostimulants on the market.

The story of AMALGEROL® began in 1948 in Switzerland. In the small town of Amriswil near Lake Constance, Gardener Karl Bentele initiated the original production on a very small scale.

From today's perspective, his venture proved to be a golden opportunity.

In 1981, the Hechenbichler family took over sales for Austria. Initially, AMALGEROL® was mainly used in the area of farmyard manure treatment. Through pioneering work, the company made the leap into livestock-free agriculture.

Great successes often stem from humble beginnings.

A milestone in 1990 was the start of large-scale contract production. At the same time, the first export deals were sealed with Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Denmark.

Looking back, it marks a remarkable ascent along a long journey.

Since 2020, the Hueter family has been steering the fortunes of our company. AMALGEROL® is now distributed in over 30 countries worldwide. Our market spans Europe, Africa, Asia and North America, and we take pride in the global appreciation of our products.
